Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and joined the firm while still a student. The focus of his work gradually shifted from law to organisational activities, marketing and communication. He subsequently took over this agenda completely and now works as the firm’s marketing director. In 2009, he was involved in the establishment of the Bohemian Heritage Fund, which draws together Czech patrons of culture and supports outstanding art projects. Since 2015, he has been the fund’s director and is responsible for its further development. He also works closely with the Czech-Israeli Mutual Chamber of Commerce, especially on the Arnošt Lustig Prize and other events. Since 2019, he has been vice-chairman of the supervisory board of the Saint Vitus Organ Foundation, which is building a new organ for the Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert. Since 2020, he has been a member of the board of trustees of the Soňa Červená Foundation, which supports talented musicians and singers in the field of classical music.
